Gobble, gobble.

We had a good Thanksgiving. We went to Hodel's for brunch this morning because SOMEONE (uncle Craig to be exact) cannot go to my mom's house. Why you ask? Because mom's husband is in law enforcement and Craig has a warrant out for his arrest. Don't ask. Brunch was good. Miss Ellie and Miss Payton were so good and ate a ton. We all did.
We came home for naps then went to Mike & Wendy's for the traditional turkey dinner. It was lots of fun and very yummy! Payton thinks she's a big girl when she gets around the cousins. It's pretty funny. I get super proud of her watching her play with those big kids. I see that she is happy and secure and outgoing. She's incredible. Ellie had fun too. She was happy, happy, but the poor girl spit up a ton! I think it may have been the milk in the mashed potatoes. I guess we will have to slow down on the people food. I brought the girls home for baths and bedtime. Brad stayed to play poker. I wish I could have stayed. I love poker. Maybe a bit too much, lol. I hope he at least wins!!!!

Slobber

Give me a chance to talk about myself. I'm there sister.

So today. Good day. Got up, showered, took the girls to grandma's and went to work. Nothing out of the ordinary. Went back to grandma's to pick up the girls. Ellie wants to be in my arms, as usual. So I pick her up, make that smacking kiss noise that I always do before I steal one from her sweet lips, and OMG, she dives at my face with her mouth a big open "O". I think 'I must have imagined that'. It was just chance, right? So I pucker up and smack again. Again, she opens her mouth wide and plants a big wet one right on my mouth. My baby girl can kiss me! On demand! There is nothing better than that little booger's new wet kisses.
Well, I shouldn't say nothing. How did I get so lucky? Is today National Kiss Your Momma Day? I didn't see it on my calender. I just put Payton down for a nap. We went to the park to play with Drew and Rhyan and Julie for a bit after leaving grandma's. Anyways, so Payton was tuckered out. I put her in bed, kissed her pretty cheeks, mouth, forehead....she said, "I give you a kiss on your hand, Momma." So I give her my hand, she turns it around and kisses the inside of my palm. Then she folds my fingers down into a fist and says "save it Momma, put it in your pocket." So I did. I have a warm sweet kiss in my pocket.
