Bye-Bye Huggies

Well, Ellie is potty-trained! I don't know how or why, but she is. :P

She's just like her big sister, naked whenever possible. So all of last week, Brad never put a diaper on her while I was at work, except for nap time. Otherwise, she was in her bathing suit or naked or in panties. We knew she was serious when by Thursday she was going in the bathroom and going pee without even telling us. She didn't have one accident ALL WEEK LONG!

So this weekend, I kept her out of diapers, even when out shopping and she told me when she had to go...again, not one single accident.

Magic, I tell ya! :)

Diapers are gone. We have pull-ups for bedtime still. I am going to wait until she consistently wakes up dry for awhile before ditching those.

I'm so proud!!!!

Pool fun!

Payton has majorly gained confidence in the pool. The girl is swimming like a fish. She jumps in, goes under, pops up, swims a little this way, swims a little that way, goes back under, pops back up and treads water.......she is amazing! Too bad all of the fun has led to swimmer's ear. :( She is on day 5 of her meds though, so tomorrow she is back in business. With an alcohol rinse afterwards, of course.

Ellie is doing well in the pool too. She is still in her swim vest, but she will jump off of the step and go under now. She also will "swim" all over the pool. It took a few weeks. She was afraid of the deep end at first. Isn't she such a pretty gal?

Wii are family.

The kids are better than I am.

Ellie Nichole or Elton John?

It's Monday Already?

How'd that happen?

I bought my John Mayer tickets. YES! July 23rd Baby!

The Center for Aging Adults (or something along those lines) just called. The lady I called psycho last week turned me in. Can you believe that? It's all good. When I told them that the job was cancelled and why, it made more sense to them. I didn't know the lady was elderly. (Shame, shame on me.) But she was psycho.

The girls are I spent Saturday with Lori. It was fun! They love her as much as I do.

Brad and I took the kiddos to see Kung Fu Panda yesterday. It was so good! Ellie was restless, but I guess that is to be expected of a 2 year old. It was still a good time. We had to sit in the very front. Oy, my neck!

I wish the foreman would get his butt in the office so I can go home........

Tomorrow is Friday!

Woo-hoooo!

What a wacky week at work. Say that 3 times fast. The boss is gone. We are busy. The highlight of my week was calling a lady psycho and hanging up on her. :P It's a good thing I am related to the boss.

Brad has a fishing tournament. He made it safely to the beach condo. He just called. Things have been tough, but we are gonna work on it. xoxo

Tomorrow I am buying tickets to see John Mayer. He's a sexy beast. :) Brad agreed to go to the MidState Fair and the concert with me, yay! He even feigned excitement. Looking forward to it!

The girls are happy. And sleeping right now. We went to dinner with my mom and her hubby at Macaroni Grill. It was delish. Then we went to Target to buy dogfood. I let them walk with me, as long as they held hands. It was adorable. They are adorable. Of course they talked me into some pool toys. And a bag of marshmallows.

Monterey-Horack Style

Just got home from Monterey. The girls had a great time. I knew they would. The aquarium is amazing. Payton wanted to run from one exhibit to the next...she wanted to touch Mr.Ray more than anything. We finally found him (and 100's of his friends) and she wimped out. Poor girl. Ellie, on the other hand would have jumped into the tanks if we'd let go of her. Are we really surprised? It was a good time with Brad's family. :)

We stayed in the inlaws motorhome. The girls slept all night, both nights. That is a first on a trip for us. I slept with Ellie. I guess I was tired the 1st night because I fell asleep before she did and woke up to her blowing raspberries on my arm while everyone else laughed. Silly girl. Payton had fun playing with Brooke, Emily and Joseph. They are all such nice cousins letting the 4 year old tag along on their big kid adventures.

We are glad to be home---the laundry is done from the trip, the suitcases are put away.....the only thing I have reminding me of the trip are 100 mosquito bites covering my body. If you know me, you know what a mosquito bite looks like on me. I am swollen and itching and miserable. I hope I don't have West Nile. :P

*There are a lot of pictures and they are in no particular order....it's after 11 pm and the Benedryl I took to stop the itching is getting to me.
