I'm tired!

Today was a long day! I didn't sleep at all last night.

Payton was up crying because she thought there were barracuda's in her closet.

Thanks dad and uncle Ryan for that oceanography lesson before bed.

Ellie was up screaming at about 4 am for reasons unknown.

So I had about, what? 3-4 hours of sleep? And then worked a full day, plus an audit that kept me in the office until 6. Is it Saturday yet?

Why am I still awake???? Oh yeah.....Top Chef, hee hee.

Pomp and Circumstance and a little bit of Booty

Payton's preschool graduation/program was last night. She was SO excited. She's really really excited about her friends coming over to swim tomorrow for their swim party.

Some pics of the Girl of the Hour and her friends and family.

The last picture is Payton and her teachers, Miss Robin and Miss Melissa. We all love them both! They said a few words about each child when they handed out diplomas, and they said Payton was the best "hand-raiser" in the history of the preschool. That is probably because the girl always has something to say! At least she is polite about it. :) There was a slide show movie of pictures throughout the year. You could always easily pick out Payton with that curly blond hair. I am extremely proud of her.

Now, onto the booty. Who brought the booty? ELLIE brought the booty. After the program, everyone was mingling, having cookies and punch and I hear a big combination of gasps, laughs, and whistles behind me. Miss Ellie tore off her diaper, hiked up her dress and made a mad dash throughout the crowd yelling, "look at my butt, look at my butt!". I don't think Miss Robin and Miss Melissa will have the same things to say about Ellie as they did Payton at her preschool graduation in a couple of years! She's a hot mess.

Here is a great picture of Ellie trying to make Natalie laugh.

Cheese!

I can't believe he didn't call.

He didn't come.
He didn't care.

Sure, he's consistent.
Love you Ryan and Michelle.

I need more time.

Who doesn't?

I have so many ideas/things to do in my mind....

The Playroom
1. Kick Ellie out and get the crib out of there.
2. Get Brad started on the pottery barn-esqe cubbies we have planned.
3. Hang the rod and pictures on the wall. I have an idea...I hope it looks as good on the wall as it does in my head.
4. Hang the curtains.

The Girl's Bedroom
1. Make Ellie sleep in there. :P
2. Finish the girl's Initial canvases I bought all of the the supplies for about 2 months ago, but have yet to take the stuff out of the bags.
3. Find a wire system for the long wall to hang the masterpieces my kids create. :)
4. Make some more pillows for their beds.

Laundry Room
1. Paint-I am thinking stripes....do I want to take that on again? Ellie's room was a lot of work, but I loved the results. The laundry room is pretty tiny.....I better buy some extra tape.
2. Finish my "Laundry Room-loads and loads of fun!" sign. So cute, I think.

Bedroom
1. Get a chair for my sewing table.
2. Paint the toilet room.
3. Help (nag) Brad with the tile floor in the bathroom.
4. Sew some curtains for the tiny windows on either side of the bed that let in way too much light.

I also need to finish painting the new baseboards in the hall bath and the hall.

Somebody kick me in the ass please.

Happy Wednesday!

Halfway to the weekend! Things have been great. So busy. We went to Vegas for Lori and John's wedding. Total blast! The girls went to a Drag show while the guys hung out at the casino. It was so hilarious. Those queen's sure did love my mom and her big hair! :P After the show we went to the Cathouse at the Luxor and saw some wannabe celebrities-Chris Judd, Chris Angel, Carrot Top, Stacy Keibler, and "that chick that screwed the NJ senator" (my mom's words). I had so much fun with Lori, Alysen, Megan and my mom!

The wedding was beautiful. xoxoxo Lori is beautiful. It was nice spending so much time with her and seeing her so happy. We reflected a little on our friendship....we have really had an awesome one. I am lucky. Now she needs to go make some babies. :P
Now we are home and back to business. The girls are doing really well. It is so warm here and we have spent every evening outside. Last night we went to Julie and Jason's to play in the blow-up pool with the twins. Fun times. The girls always sleep hard after an evening outside. Today, Payton has afternoon preschool, so I will go home and nap with Ellie. These long hours at work are wearing me out. Last night I fell asleep right after 9 pm. I used to be up until at least midnight every night! Brad is almost out of school. We have a trip to Monterey Aquarium planned with his family in two weeks. I am so excited. That place is beautiful. The girls are going to LOVE it!
